Baby moons - check!

I ordered the baby moon hubcaps for the Pearl and they arrived today.  I measured as well as I could and put in an order with Vintage Trailer Supply, crossed my fingers and held my breath.  Our wheels are original, 4 bolt, 13", 3 nubs.  They fit like a glove - just popped right on!  Hopefully they won't just pop right off too :)

Dome Hubcaps from Vintage Trailer Supply VTS-595, $17.94 each

  1. Hi, I love your little trailer. I have been working toward talking my husband into purchasing a secondhand travel trailer and just giving it a try. I'm retired but he has a few years left to work, but has pretty good vacation time, so we are just thinking about in state travel for a while to get our feet wet. I'm looking forward to sharing your adventures through this blogging media and showing Steve just how much fun we can have. God bless your travels, Connie :) P.S. please accept my invitation to visit my blog, hopefully you will decide to follow me, too.

    1. Thanks Connie! It certainly is a lot of fun. And we use it, even when its just parked in the driveway. I use it as an office, or just a quiet place to escape.

I checked out your blog (I'm a follower) and with your talent, I'd love to see what you would do with a little vintage trailer!

  2. Your trailer is just gorgeous! We just bought a 1962 Shasta, it needs a ton of work. I am hoping one day mine will look as cute as yours! I don't have a name for her yet, I am still thinking of one. I also have a blog and am posting pics, maybe you can check it out sometime!

    1. Hi Kathy, Thanks so much for the compliment! I went to your blog to see your new (vintage) Shasta. You'll get her back to her glory days in no time. Ours was in much worse shape when we got her. I can't wait to see your progress!

I thought looking for the decorative touches was the most fun. We are going to go to our first vintage trailer gathering. I'll post pics when we get back.

      Congratulations on your find!

    1. How lucky you are! What a gorgeous car!!! Some day the trailer will be sporting a cool tow car like that. But not until the children are done with college :)

      Thanks for visiting the blog!

Hi Lisa, I got bit by the vintage camper bug, and just bought a 61 Shasta hoping to restore it. Your Pearl is amazing. :0)
